Please Answer my Question:

My university bachelor degree is 4 year program for Natural Alternative Medicines

My 12 months consecutive work experience is as a Massage Therapist NOC # 3236

I have seasonal work experience as a massage therapist NOC #3236

I have seasonal work experience as a Sports Instructor NOC #5254

My current work position as a full time sports instructor would like to offer me a full time position, a job offer with a LMIA. As a sports instructor NOC #5254.

MY QUESTION:
is it ok that my 12 months work experience is for a different skilled occupation than the skilled occupation for my LMIA job offer?

eg. work experience as a Massage Therapist NOC 3236. LMIA job offer as a Sports Instructor NOC 5254.

THANK YOU!

Sorry to say but I don't think your work experience would be counted with NOC 5254. As far as I know, to be eligible for immigration, the work ex should be related to the respective NOC (in your case its 5254 along with LMIA job offer).

Regards.

I just called the help line and spoke with someone.

as long as both your work experience and your job offers are in skilled occupations, they do not have to be the same NOC number. But both skilled jobs.

Anyone have any comments or has anyone else been in a similar situation and been approved ok??
