What do you think dear forumers is it a good idea to travel as a visitor to Canada though my application for PR is in VO now, will it affect badly on my application or not.
I would like to visit to see life there and to realize if i can live there.A*9t the same time i want to buy any property there will it help my processing?

My parents were immigration applicants waiting with new delhi as their visa office. Even though i was an international student living in toronto they still refused my parents visitor visa just because they were pr applicant. It comes under dual intent in which they say that you want to go permanently and also require a visitor visa. I am 90% sure that your visa will be refused as you can see from my example. But if you stress that you want to buy property there before moving and base your visa requirement on that, your chances could improve considerably.

Sorry to say I am not with you, friend. One of my friends visits Canada very often though he is a PR applicant.

Thats why i specifically said new delhi visa office(dont know about other visa office), dual intent is a major factor in canadian visa cases.

Hi,

It differs from applications to applications , if you have already an application pending for PR , Visa officer knows that you have intentions to settle in Canada but visa officer may give you the visa as well if you have strong ties in your home country like a good job/ business , family (Wife and kids)


All depends on your luck as well for example one of my friends brother lives in Canada when he was in USA on J1 visa his brother sponsored him and he got the single entry visa for 3 months , he travelled to Canada and came back in a month after leavin UsA he got the job in uk he applied again and he got thevisa for 6 months multiple but strangely his 3 rd application got rejected as the visa officer was not satisfied that he will come back although every time he visited Canada he came back in 1 month.

I am sure, if you explain like that in the letter to the visa office (except for wish to buy property, that is unnecessary, and I wouldn't recommend it) you would get visa for sure.
