Hi All,

I am back to canada two months ago, I just got a offer from Rogers around 38,000 CAD per years, Is it good enought to apply my wife and two daugther? Can I start apply right away, or one year later when I got my yearly tax result?
Actually, what is the earning amount for apply spous and children?

thanks

Hello.
This is a thread about how much income you need to sponsor wife and kids, but I don't think they'll take it too seriously. I've heard people on well-fare being approved as the sponsor. But take a look:

Good luck! =]

thanks for your reply!
but that information was from 2009, anyone can update me the new requirment?
Do I need work for one year, then APPLY my wife and daughter?

I know that even if you are unemployed you can still sponsor your wife. (there is no income level to sponsor your spouse, its just you are responsible for your spouse for 3years IF your spouse goes on welfare) But I have no idea about what income level to show to sponsor children

Anyone have successful case to apply wife and children with low salary?
any problem from immigration?

I've applied for sponsorship even though I am currently unemployed. And the first step of the process (sponsorship check) has been cleared ^_^

So I don't think level of income is a key factor.

is your family came already?
any problem from immigration officer?
do you have to show you have great deposit in bank account?
how long you apply?

More than whether or not that number is good enough for CIC, what do you think yourself?. Is that enough to pay for rent, utilities, food, etc. for you, your spouse and the dependents?
