Hello. I am hoping someone could help me get some idea about the North Island College, BC. How is the area and job opportunities during the studies etc. I will really appreciate any sort of details.

Anyone travelling to NIC for Jan 2015 Intake ?

The area is remote -- tiny island communities that are largely First Nation. Food, gas, and everything else will be expensive. The weather will be chilly and rainy all the time. The college itself will be marginal, teaching mostly extension classes that help people graduate from high school, and then the most basic certificates. It will have several campuses, all small. It is not a school that foreign students should hope to enter.
