One can change the address after submitting the application. I see no issues here. People move, buy new houses blah blah blah. The issue is that you obtained an ID which you have been using till this very day (actually you showed this ID to the CIC officer), but you failed to update the address (if it's like a driving license then it's against the law). So... your guess is as good as mine. You were already RQ'd, but I'm not sure how CIC will look at it.
