Please advice secondary applicant requirements

Hi Everyone,

I am about to apply for Express Entry
and I would like to know what are the requirements for secondary applicants
and prepare for the same

Both of us are currently working in Canada

Does the secondary applicant also need to and other questions :

1. Get the Language test ??
2. Get the educational marksheets assessed ??
3. Get police verifications .. he was in the US for more than 6 months
Also do we need to provide the last 10 years of stay or from age 18
4. Get experience letters from previous jobs ??

5. Both of us have one year Contracts with our current jobs and positive LMIA
6. If he gets any of the above does that add to the points ??

Please help me with this and suggest if anything else that would be needed.

As far as I know, First two points - language test and education marksheets assessment is not mandatory for the second applicant unless you want to gain some points on that.
Police certificate might be necessary for second applicant too.

But I am not sure, Any expert out there can comment on this?,

1 & 2 are not mandatory for a spouse, but provide extra points if you get them
3. Yes
4 not required
5 no extra points for spouse's LMIA

I believe this is correct. BUT on my documents list (FSW ITA), my partner's employment records were listed as required. Don't know why, but I wouldn't dare apply without them!

Of course, if CIC requests something, always provide it ! .
