If my husband took a three years course Bachelor's Degree and one year trade course in welding in TESDA, will it give him a 20 points for education?
Based on our computation, this is his points. (Hope we're right)
Age: 10
Education: 20
(assuming that they will consider the one year trade welding course in TESDA for Full time study, 6 years for primary, 4 years for secondary, three years for college and one year for trade in TESDA)
Work Experienced: 19
(Please Correct me if I'm wrong, if it is 3 years experienced, are they going to give him 19 points?)
Language: 16
( he has a score of 10 in IELTS so he got 7.5 overall band score in IELTS, and he is planning to study basic french and get a certificate test on this to gain more points for us just in case they will not consider his one year trade course in TESDA)
Adaptibility: 3
( This part is somewhat confusing. In the CIC website, there are no choices for 13 years FTS for spouse, only 12 and 14 years, but I finished a three years bachelor's degree in Psychology and I only assumed the three points score from other websites that has a calculator pointing system, please correct me If I'm wrong)
Total: 68 (Assuming that I got everything correct)
Do they still consider 68 points? I was aware that the passing score is 67 points, it's just feels like our score is "Pasang awa", that's why he was thinking of studying basic french to make it at least around 70 points.
Please advise.
Thank You.
