Did you already have a return ticket or book at that moment?

I work for airlines, so, I had a non-revenue flight listed. No confirmed flight. If they let you leave next day, then you have to book your hotel then and there and show them.
I suggest take an early morning flight and return same day. That way it will be easy to convince them.

Did CBSA not ask you about your 14 days quarantine plan ? How did you convince them to return the same day ?

My COPR expires end of August so I am planning to do a soft landing before that and come back to the US using the automatic visa revalidation (AVR)
Do you know if the AVR process is affected from the new H1B immigration ban?
Is there anyone who came back after June 24th using the AVR?
