Hello guys... I did 2 years diploma from Ontario and have 3 years of open work permit. Now planning to move to Yukon to get my pnp program done. Is it a good step as they provide pnp in 8 to 10 weeks and i had already spent 1 year of my work permit here in Ontario. thanks

I think it is a great idea if you can stand the extreme weather there (Not that different from the other provinces, honestly). So if you need only 8-10 weeks of work experience at that province to apply as I understood, then yes, go for it. Why wouldn't it be a good idea to invest ONLY 8-10 weeks for the possibility to get a pnp nomination?

BTW, how come they gave you a 3 years open work permit? As I know, the duration of your work permit depends on the years that you spent on school. If you spent only 2 years then shouldn't they give you only 2 years of OPW?

Yukon, is very clean and air is not polluted..
Whitehorse is Pretty small, quiet , surrounded by nature..no idea about job market over there..but if I personally would have a job offer with decent pay, then I might have thought about it..
