Plz let me know if this post is not appropriate in this zone
I'm planning to apply for express entry to Canada and I have done the Initial assessment with Kansas Consultancy and the CRS score obtained is 976 out of 1200.

I am not aware of complete process and the chances of success rate for my profile. Please help me or direct me to relevant thread!!!

Read the sticky threads on this forum for the information on EE. Have you obtained LMIA backed job offer? It is impossible to get 976 CRS points w/o job offer.

Did you check the CRS score yourself? It is almost impossible to get 976 unless you have a canadian job offer with LMIA or a provincial nomination.

CRS points calculator is available in CIC website:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Be careful, the consultancy may be boosting up your points to get some business.

Hi pfse, thanks for the quick response. Below are the Initial Assessment details and how is the score I received as 976 (326+50+600).
Sorry, Not aware of what is LMIA backed job offer.... But, I don't have any job offers in hand in Canada.

Maximum points Claimed points
Core Human Capital Factors – Applicant with Spouse 500 326 (as im unmarried got 326 points)
Skill Transferability Factors 100 50
Provincial Nomination (or) Offer of Arranged Employment 600 600 (Unsure y is 600 under Claimed, have to confirm with consultancy)

Please do not consider the 600 points. You need to either have a Canadian job offer with LMIA or Provincial nomination.

A Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) is a document that an employer in Canada may need to get before hiring a foreign worker. A positive LMIA will show that there is a need for a foreign worker to fill the job. It will also show that no Canadian worker is available to do the job.

Most of the provincial nominations are now closed or are looking for candidates with job offer from the province. Provincial nominations can take 3-9 months time.

Also there have been lot of stories in this forum where consultancies have fooled the applicants giving false promises. So please be very careful in dealing with them. It is always better to apply on your own. This forum has a wealth of information on express entry.

So your consultancy included Provincial nomination into CRS calculation without you actually have one. I would drop this consultancy immediately. No consultancy can promise that you would receive Provincial nomination.

Thanks a lot Ajith for explanation on LMIA.

Thanks Pfse , i'd contact consultancy on more explanation on it. Further, pfse can u help me by directing me to those threads where it helps in applying independently for Express Entry instead of going with consultancy. I'm planning to apply independently which also save some bucks. Now i am preparing for IELTS and searching info on it and tips.

THANKS A LOT AGAIN FOR RESPONSES

Start with 3 sticky threads on this forum:
Express Entry Step by step instructions.
Express Entry in a nutshell
SUMMARY OF ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL EXPRESS ENTRY PNP STREAMS

A lot of useful information is available there. I doubt any consultant can give you this.

Hi pfse,

Thanks for the information and sorry i am too late in responding.

I had few dependencies in family earlier, gave a pause for Canada plans, and now i am looking forward to accomplish the process of Express entry .

As per your below instructions i searched for 'Express Entry Step by step instructions' in this forum which threw multiple threads but i was unable to find the exact content which shows the step for applying for express entry.

Sorry i am very much unaware and i am trying to fetch info from internet. Can you please direct me on how to reach relevant info, it would help me a lot.

I was only able to find number of querries posted by fellow members but not steps for EE.

This whole section of the forum is about EE. You have to be more specific and ask specific questions. Have you even try to create an account? On the website I provided is step by step instruction how to do this. You fill in the forms with your private details specific to you. Start filling in your EE profile and if you have a problem with any particular section on question ask for help here.
Really, I don't know what else to advise you.

Oh i was not aware that the website itself is meant for filling the forms and other details for processing. I will do it right away.
Apologies, my question wasn't straight to the point. I am still not aware of the process and the different terminology used. I am gaining knowledge and my querries would be more particular in coming days.

Thank you for providing info...
