Hello,
I've made the mistake of putting "Dombivali" as my Place of Birth on my Canadian passport. When I went to surrender my Indian citizenship at BLS Toronto, they told me that it should be "Dombivli"; and to get my passport corrected. I only got my passport made in Jan, and I'd have to re-do the entire Canadian Passport process to surrender my Indian citizenship now. Has anyone else faced this problem before? Is it worth a shot to send in the application anyway? Or should I get the passport remade?
