Writing: 8.5
Speaking: 8.5 Please help me determine what my CLB is 9 or 10. If 9, 29 points

1 year Canadian NOC A skilled work exp 35 points

Skill transferability
With Canadian work experience and a post-secondary degree 50 points

That comes up to a total of 333 points

If you have done with your ECA from WES Go for Nova scotia PNP or Saskatchewan PNP (both have mechanical engineers in demanding occupations)
If you dont have ECA, Go for Saskatchewan PNP and Start for WES simultaneously , by the time you receive your nomination, you will receive ECA report from WES and just lodge the EE profile with State nomination and ECA report

CIC check how close your experience and job duties are in their designated occupations in demand (as per NOC).

If you have work experience in IT, your NOC will be as per your work experience, not as per education.
you can check Job duties as per NOCs for which demanding occupation your experience match best (e.g there is one category in saskatchwan PNP is 2173 Software Engineers and Designers) you can check if its job duties and requirements is as per your experience or not

There are several examples like Chemical engineers and B.tech people got PER because of their job duty in NOC of marketing professional without holding MBA, just because of their work experience.

However, you can frame your job duties in a way that represent that you are using your Mechanical Engg skils in profession of IT.

Hi All,

Submitted for NOC:2173 with Overall Score:342

Below is the breakup -

CRS - Human Capital - Age 80
CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education 126
CRS - Human Capital - First Official Language Proficiency 86
CRS - Skill Transferability - Education 25
CRS - Skill Transferability - Foreign Work Experience 25

Not sure if this gonna help me ... ???...any idea what are the chances.

My wife has over 6 years of IT experience, she is a mechanical engineering graduate. She did not take her IELTS nor has ECA. What are the prospects and new score if I get her IELTS (with 6 in each module) and ECA.

Regards
Raj

456. Cautiously optimistic!
Will go up to a sweet 1056 if I can manage a job. Still got a year left on my PGWP.

My friend I think you get overall score of 405 points ... you have CLB 10

CLB 10 = L 8.5 - R 8.0 - W 7.5 - S 7.5 = 34 points for each band!

Congrats bro!
