hi guys.
i did bachelors in electronics communication 4 years from india.
currently i am working in a company on noc level B type job with LMIA from last 2 months.
My questions:
Do i have to get my degree assessment for getting Education points?
and
Am i eligible to get full 600 points because i have LMIA based job????

Here is mine... applying with a spouse.

age 27 = 100 points
BSc three years = 112 points

IELTS:
Listening 8.0 CLB9 = 29 points
Reading 8.5 CLB11 = 32 points
Writing 7.5 CLB10 = 32 points
Speaking 8.0 CLB11 = 32 points

Canadian work experience - None or less than a year = 0 points

Spouse's level of education: Secondary school (high school) credential = 2 points

Skill transferability factors: Post-secondary program credential of one year or longer (levels 3,4 & 5) + Points for CLB 9 or more on all four first official language abilities = 25 points

Foreign work experience: 3 years or more of foreign work experience + CLB 9 or more on all four first OL abilities = 50 points

Total: 414 points.

I wrote a program yesterday to analyze SS data and estimate EE score based on the given data.

Warning: This is based on single scoring chart because spouse detail is not disclosed on FSW2014 SS.

Please report if your data is correct but your score biased a lot (diff more than 20 points).
(My score is 406 but my program gave me 404 through the data I put on SS ....close enough for me)

Some trivia:

If fsw2014_ielts_score > 24, then it will be 24
If fsw2014_ielts_score < 16, then it will be 16

Age estimation:

edu_age
bachelor: 22
master: 24
phd: 26

est_age = edu_age + work_year

fsw2014_ielts_score to ee_ielts_score
16 -> 68
17 -> 74
18 -> 81
19 -> 87
20 -> 94
21 -> 101
22 -> 109
23 -> 116
24 -> 124

Super awesome job dude.... You must be applying in NOC 2174 \ 2173 :). We will definately meet in canada :).

Why is your score only 404? Didn't you get enough points on IELTS?

Bro.. U have a masters degree, +5 yrs experience, and an 8 band on IELTS. I cant fathom why your score is 404. Even if you are single I think it should be this : 110 Age? + 135 Edu + 125 IELTS? + 100 Skill Transfer (Minimum) = 470 ?

Dear sankarora ,can you please help me out to calculate my score for EE. I beg to you to help !e. Thanks. No one replied in my previous entry. Pls healp

I'm guessing he doesn't have Canadaian experience that's why?
Basically if you don't have Canadian experience with this new system your score goes to crap.

it's sad that I got 7/9/7/8.5 so that I could not make CLB9

AGE- 30 Yrs (UNMARRIED)--- 105 Points

Education- MASTERS--- 135 Points

Language
READING IELTS 6.5 (CLB 8)--- 23 Points
LISTENING IELTS 8.0 (CLB 9)-- 31 Points
WRITING IELTS 6.5 (CLB 8 )--- 23 Points
SPEAKING IELTS 8.0 (CLB 9)--- 31 Points TOTAL LANGUAGE--108

TOTAL (A) CORE/HUMAN FACTORS-------105+135+108= 348

TOTAL (C) SKILL TRANSFERABILITY ----FOREIGN EXPERIENCE + LANGUAGE + CANADIAN WORK EXPERIENCE----- 100

TOTAL (D) ARRANGED EMPLOYMENT- (Regular full time job in NOC A category from a BANK) = 600

TOTAL POINTS FOR ME------348+100+600= 1048....

What do u guys think of these marks?? will I get a ITA???

Regards

Mani

I thing with this points you are 100% through.
About the ARRANGED EMPLOYMEN, do you have LMIA?

Current Median is 369, this is not good for me :(

Can the author please add an automatic Median calculation on the Total points (up to 600, column Q)? This will greatly help.

If i am getting an initial 786 scores, do you think I can get an ITA? BY THE WAY MY WIFE DONT HAVE IELTS, WE DONT HAVE CANADA EXPERIENCE AS WELL, NO ECAS REPORT.ONLY WHAT I HAVE IS JOB OFFER LETTER AND PROVINCIAL NOMINEE.

DO YOU THINK WE CAN MAKE IT?

ACTUALLY, ALL MY DOCS ARE SET AND READY TO SEND TO CANADA FOR PR APPLICATIONS YET I AM CONSIDERING TO APPLY IN EXPRESS ENTRY. ANY ADVISE PLS.

THANK YOU
I believe just with 600 points from PNP and/or a job offer, you outplay most people here. CIC takes PNP and job offers very seriously, which is fair enough IMO, when they give it as many scores as maximum of everything else. I think most people (w/o PNP or job offer) would get 300-450 points.
Just imagine a guy with 550 points: he is very likely to possess:
- A PhD
- Excellent English AND French
- Serveral years Canadian experience
- youth
Then why on earth does he want to go for EE, if he ever exists?
All on all, you're good to go.

Thank u nobita.. my concern is regarding ECAS report in which other says it is mandatory.. even it is applied to provincial nominee as well.
