1.Ung LTO cert ba need natin pa certified true copy or red ribbon ba un sa dfa? May nagcomment kase sa fb about dito. I want to know kung acknowledge ng agency dyan sa Saskatchewan ang LTO cert natin.
2. I also read that you took the exam. What type ba ang exam? Multiple choice lang ba? Like traffic signs? etc?

Hi. I have LTO with DFA cert. Di nman sya hiningi. Ang pinakita ko lng international lic. passport para sa ID, bank statement and isa pang proof of residency. kasi 2 proof of ID and 2 proof of residency ang kailangan. Hay, need tlg ng driver's lic d2. sabi sa akin nung interview, kailan ko makukuha ang driver's lic ko and balik ako if my driver's lic na. Pampalubag loob, no need to go through again the whole process, just show me your driver's lic pagbalik ko daw. hay....! well, depende sa applyan mo pero more than 90%, required ang driver's lic lalo na sa saskatoon.

Yung exam, touch screen sya. 30( signs) and 20 ( situational). lahat mc. dapat makakuha ka ng 16/ 20 and 24/30 para pumasa.

Hi again. hinahanap kasi yung mga driver's lic mo pala after nag exam ka. pinakita ko lang yung driver's lic (card) and international lic ko. di nman hinanap yung LTO certificate ko. acknowledged nman nya na nag drive ako sa pinas kaya na waive waiting period( 9 months) bgo makapag road test. So, sa tingin ko, it doesn't matter kung may lto certificate ka or wala. pero pagawa ka nlng din just in case lang...

You're right LTO certificate is not needed and you can actually use your Philippine license for 90 days. But you have pass the written exam and road test before 90 days para your SK license is class 5 na agad with no conditions or restrictions like novice etc.

Pag novice kasi you can't have passengers that are not family members yata or something like that, can't remember na.

Health card naman, although wala pa yung card you can always call Sask health and follow up. You can also get your health card number if you call them just in case need mo na talaga. Usually daw kasi tagal lang gawin yung card pero nasa system na info mo, kita na yun ng doctor na pupuntahan mo for check up. Hope this helps

Hi CG, ty sa info nkkatulong ng malaki at least buti na ung equipped pagdating dyan. Mahirap nman kase na worried ka, na wala ka pang job tpos iniisip mo pa pano matoto mag drive at pag marunong ka nman la ka palang dalang docs to prove na marunong ka. Kakainis pa lalo ung dating mo dyan super qualified ka sa work then dahil lng sa di ka marunong mag drive di ka matanggap. At least hihintayin mo na lang driver's license mo. Kesa driving lesson ka pa di ba? Kaya nkakatulong tong info mo sa mga la pang driver's license, kuha na! Go!;D Ty again CG let us know pag may job ka na. Celebrate tau dito sa forum.

thank you so much po.... what are the needed/possible documents that newly landed immigrants can submit for the healthcard.... is it possible to apply within a week of landing, eh, wala pang proof of residency kasi wala pang bills and the res? salamat po....

good day and merry Christmas to everyone! i would just like to ask for the best way to get airfare tickets. my husband is going home to the philippines maybe on march or april 2012 and go back to canada after 3 weeks with me and our two kids who are 4 years old and 1 1/2 year old. some travel agencies here in the philippines offer discounts for first time immigrants.but according to my husband it's best if he purchase round trip ticket for him and purchase the regular airfare ticket for me and our kids. what is more cheapest. is it for him to avail a one way ticket from canada to philippines and purchase the 4 tickets for us from here to canada? (to have the discount)..or purchase all our tickets from canada as regular airfare price? i hope you could help us.thanks in advance!!
