I'm sure tatagal ka din sa lamig, ako nga nakasurvive eh napakaginawin ko.
Best thing to do is dress in layers and talagang complete gear hehe- hat, mitts/gloves, scarf and the winter jacket. Also shoes na may traction, like rubber shoes or winter boots kasi madulas maglakad pag may snow. Di pa naman ako madulas at napaupo pero muntik na. Malakas din madalas ang hangin dito and pag winter, the wind chill makes it even colder.
As for driving nga pala, may driving manual sa SGI website na pwede ireview, medyo tricky kasi questions sa situational part ng written test. Road signs naman madali lang. As for the road test, tip ko is learn to parallel park, kasi if you fail to do it e 10 points na agad yun. Tapos shoulder checks before you change lanes, 2 points yun eveytime di mo magawa, pag umabot ka ng more than 10points, failed na agad. Stop sign dapat full stop talaga then look right and left before proceeding. You can turn right kahit red ang traffic light which is kakaiba sa atin sa 'pinas then you have to yield to pedestrians. Pag may pedestrian lane at may taong gusto tumawid titigil ka talaga.
Finally hehe you should book your road test on a Saturday early morning mga 8 or 8:30am para konti pa sasakyan at tao sa kalsada, less challenging. Sulitin din ang 90 days na valid ang philippine driver's license para magpractice magdrive. Oh and by the way, most city streets 50kph speed limit, 40kph pag sa school.
Well I hope this helps, good luck to all and hope for fast processing ng mga application ng lahat.
