Interesting advice. My lawyer advised me to pay the RPRF upfront as not doing that will delay the application by a couple of months when they request the fee.

I don't have an idea why it was delayed. They just ask more documents twice. They had my passport last March 2009. The Right of Permanet Residence Fee which is C$490 is part of whole payment for the processing but we didn't paid yet not we are advise to do so. As per lawyer who helped us we don't know if we go denied and the refund of RPRF will take 1 year. So she told us not to pay until we are told to so because that's the indication that your papers is ok once u got advise to pay for it.

Ay sorry guys for misleading you. OK, here, Im laying down my cards.

First of, Hindi ko talaga sure kung nasaan na kami sa proceso.

Ermats ko asa AB, nagttrabaho siya doon and nag-aapply siya ng Permanent Residence under Nanny program ba yun or live-in caregiver ba? sorry Im not really sure.

During the process may dumating sa aming Sponsorship forms para sa aming miyembro ng family at sa tatay ko. We completed this application noong 2007 pa yata.

Hanggang may dumating sa aming Medical forms at nagrerequest na mag undergo kami ng medical (the whole family). We did our medical examination/evaluation in Makati last 2008. Unfortunately, in December 2008 we recieved a Refusal letter due to the medical condition of my sister (may cerebral palsy kasi siya). This has resulted to being medically inadmissible on y sister's part.

Nasa immigration rule daw na kapag may isa sa family members na medically inadmissible (accompanying or not) maaring hindi magrant yung PR application ng mother ko, or totally ma refuse kaming lahat. Damay-damay sa madaling salita.

1 year have passed since that last Refusal letter and we havent heard from them. It is disappointing, really. My mother have responded to them (immigration sa Canada) through a letter. But Im not sure what exactly was the detail mentioned in the letter. Hanggang ngayon wala pa kaming balita.

Decision Made January 4, 2010............ kaso d pa alam kung ano result? nakaka nerbs hehe! d na nadating letter kung ano result sana naman wag ibalik o may kulang sa application namin... nakaka stress na kasi eh hehehehe!

hi! lumabas approval namin september 2009,nagpasa ko sa canadian embassy manila ng October 2009, lumabas request namin for medical ng december 18, bukas papamedical na kmi, pero i found out im 2 months preganant malaman ko p bukas kung ano ang adice ng doctor!thank you!

when I was in Canda they did not allow me to take the medical exam because i was pregnant ( becasue of the X-ray procedure). I have to wait until I delivered my baby. Kaya I decided to come home na lang instead of applying inland.

Jun 11, 2009 >> CPC - M recieved
July 20,2009 >> Sponsorship application approved and then sent to Manila
July 27, 2009 >> We started processing application on July 27, 2009 in manila
Aug 4, 2009 >> passport requested
Aug 7, 2009 >> passport sent
Jan 10, 2010 >> medical results have been received
Jan 11, 2010 >> e-cas says "Decision Made, we will contact **** concerning the decision"
