Don`t forget to bring a warm jacket with you, it`s getting cold in Canada now. You can actually handcarry your laptop and some small electronic items(cellphone,mp3). As far as i can remember you`re not allowed to handcarry liquid items and aerosol that are more than 100ml(shampoo, lotion, hairspray). You`re allowed to handcarry items that are contained in a 100ml container placed on a clear plastic bag or ziploc bag. You have to handcarry any valuables but if you got 10,000dollars or more with you, you have to declare it at custom.

And don`t forget to have your documents and contact persons/numbers in Canada. Bring chewing gums too, i find these helpful especially when the plane rises to a higher altitude, my ears were popping and it was a long flight.

;D hello everyone mg1 week na ko dito sa banff alberta canada ....namimiss ko ang mga days na sobrang ngwoworry ako about sa processing at sobrang naiinip ako but now im here ;D Goodluck sa lahat...ok naman dito malamig hayyyyyy....ngrerent kmi sa basement ok nman complete na lahat ng gamit...1200$ a month walking distance lahat...maliit lang ang banff pde kong libutin ng 1 day hahaha ..simple tahimik at busy ang buhay...double job ang hubby ko 8am to 4pm then 5pm to 1am ..magkasama nga kami bihira nman kmi mgkita hahaha ...pero mgbabago rin ang lahat kapag ngwork na ko...medyo nagaadjust pa kami ng 4 yr old daughter ko....at ang daming pinoy kahit saan ako mgpunta sa supermarket sa mall sa bangko ... and infairness canadian are so friendly .kahit di mo kakilala palabati sila .one time ng gagala ako panay bati sa akin ng mga dumadaan na canadian di ko alam kung papansinin ko sabi ng hubby ko gnun daw tlga sila kaya ngitian ko na lng daw.gustong gusto ko makipgchickahan sa landlord nmin kse friendly cia kaya lang minsan di ko masabi gusto ko sabihin .mababait din nman mga pinoy dami ng toys agad ng anak ko at lage kming ngdidinner kung saan saan..may mga job offer pero dapat muna nmin pgusapan kse walang mgaalaga ng anak nmin .ok lang ang life dito...di nman mahirap at di rin madali....dpende pa kung paano tayo didiskarte ...hopefully makaipon kami para mgkabahay hehehe...laking kaluwagan cguro kpg d na kmi ngrerent ...at masakit din sa paa maglakad mura lang sasakyan dito problema wala kami lisensya ...thank you Godbless at Goodluck po sa lahat...keep praying

prepare for a very long winter , bino bulldozer ang snow sa Alberta ;D usually rent or house mortgage takes most of the money we earn but then we need a house to live in so no choice. mahal pala rent dyan ano? it`s understandable naman it`s a tourist destination. i went to banff before and it was july pero malamig especially at the top of sulphur mountain. you can adjust it just take some time. it`s really hard when there`s only one income and you have to think of daycare if you decide to go to work which cost money too. i know very cheap lang sasakyan, my husband encouraged me to learn how to drive so i can have some kind of independence. good luck sa new life mo sa Canada.

regarding dun sa Q2 ko kasi sabi dun ilagay family members, so kailangan ko ilagay yung asawa ko which is my sponsor also di ba? yung other family member nilagyan ko na ng n/a dahil wala pa kami anak. ngayon ang question ko dun, since family member ko eh yung sponsor ko so kailangan ko ilagay yung wife ko dun at yung tanong na will accompany you to canada eh sya ang sponsor ko and since nandun na sya w/ working visa ano lagay ko dun? and should i also give photos of my wife since nakapag fill-up na sya ng ganitong form before?

this question is relevant for those people who meet on the internet, pen pals, introduced by relatives or friends and the first time they meet is usually at the airport. ang answer mo not applicable since you were childhood friends. but you have to emphasize this sa development of your relationship.

di pa man na D DM pero syempre iba ung handa. anu daw ung di dapat dalhin..

damit lng dinala ko mga hoody jacket socks ...mga kaartehan sa mukha ,lotion naku bilis maubos dito lageng dry skin ko...walang panama ang belo na lotion hahahahaa....i used box tpos i bought balikbayan bag cover para safe ang box ko mas madami kse malalagay sa box..kung ano lng yung importante ...marami pdala sa akin d ko tinanggap first time ko eh tapos kasama ko ba anak ko yokong mgkaproblema pa sa custom... ;D

it`s really important to have a car and driver`s license especially pag walang public transport, but it`s wintertime so it`s better to wait till summer. pero pwede namang mag study ka na for the knowledge test. i didn`t bother when i was in vancouver but when i moved to alberta i had to do it or else i`ll be stucked inside the house, just to go to the grocery store naku ang hirap eh tayo pa naman when we go to superstore small sack na bigas ang bitbit kaagad ;D i got lots of humorous stories actually so yong mga bagong dating you`re free to ask.

thanks brookslakeside! thanks sa mga nag reply. wala na pala sumagot dun sa last na tanong ko pero na-ipasa ko na yung application ko via fedex and na track ko din na na-receive na sa abu dhabi. any ideas ang time-line sa processing ng abu dhabi? thanks ulit!

may padala sna ako sa misis ko na can goods like purefoods corned beef kasi mas masarap CB ntin kesa dun pero na-confiscate dun sa airport sa canada pati na din ung mga red eggs (3 trays) at chicharon baboy. pag pabalik-balik ka na sa canada ska ka plang pwde magdala nun.
