hi inwhiteshoes...i applied for my college transcript. Regarding elementary and high school records, I don't think kailangan pa iyon. Hindi naman pinasubmit ng CNO sa akin ang mga iyon. Nag-apply ka rin ba sa CNO?

hello guys!

Just want to ask few questions..

1)Do Registered Nurses can temporarily work as NurseAide in Canada while working for Provincial Registration?
2)Do I need to request for foreign credentials evaluation from IQAS if I want to apply as NurseAide in Alberta?
3)Can I start sending my application to CARNA pending English exam result? since I read from CARNA's website not to start the application without English Exam Result?
4)Which is easier...IELTS or CELBAN?

listening 8.0
reading 6.0
writing 7.0
speaking 7.5
total band score 7.0

kulang ako ng 0.5 sa reading

magaapply ako sa Manitoba
any idea kung anong ibig sabihin ng...

(The scores take the Standard Error of Measurement into consideration.) eto kasi nakalagay kasama ng required scores


umaasa lang ako na baka ma consider ung lacking 0.5 ko kasi mataas naman akosa ibang subtest, ang mahal mahal pa naman ng ielts

you should start processing your docs or assessment here in ontario.. may new rule kasi ang CNO na bay 2013 before you write the registration exam you have to write first the jurisprudence exam.. i think its all applicable for all who are applying for RN and RPN.

ahhh thanks ask ko lang din paano nyo napadala lahat ng transcript nyo pero meron ngsuggest sa akin ng binigyan daw sila ng school ng envelope at sya na yung nagpadala. By the way before ko ba ipadala yung mga transcript ko do I have to pay them the assessment fee na?

Hi KMAEP...I also read about the revised CNO registration regulation which will take effect on Jan. 1, 2013. Ang pagkakaintindi ko kasi you are now required to take the jurisprudence exam. before registration. Pero hindi sinabi you have to take the juris. exam first before sitting for the registration exam.Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks

hi emrn...ako ang nagreply sa yo about the transcript. Just for clarification, I did not suggest. That was exactly what happened when I applied for my transcripts in 2010. After paying the assessment fee, I was asked to come back to get the sealed envelope which contained my documents. Ako na lang daw ang magmail. Depende siguro sa school mo. You can ask them to mail them for you. Btw, I'm talking about my schools: UST, Perpetual and St. Jude. Good luck...

Thats ok. Alam mo one of my schools asked me to come back after 3 weeks kasi wala daw ang mga signatories. Can you imagine 3 weeks just to get the transcript? I sent it as a registered mail; CNO received it after 2 weeks. Ang tagal... Same thing with my employer's reference letter. Ako na lang ang pinag-mail nila. I went to Manila Postal Office and a friendly lady behind the counter asked me what the letter was. This was in August 2010. My wait for CNO's reply dragged on till February 2011 when I got their response. They wouldn't accept it because it was encased in a personal envelope. I could only conclude that postal officer tampered with my letter. Nakakagigil talaga. Send na naman ako ng panibagong verification letter kaya natagalan ang application ko. Just sharing with you my experience...

i think it depends upon the school, kasi ako school nag padala basta ang mahalaga my seal ng school mga docs and naka address sa school

Thanks super helpful din reading what you went through at least I have an idea na. My employer is my alma mater they absorbed me as a clinical instructor. So I guess pwede ko na lang kausapin yung mga friendship dun hehehe. Did u pay CNO the assessment fee before u sent the transcripts? Kasi naman ang mahal tapos di ko pa sure ano na ba talaga status ng app namin.

Thanks KMAEP did u pay the assessment fee before sending CNO your transcripts? Kasi di ko pa alam ano ang status ko sa app namin. Ang akin lang I just want to use the time that I have here productive. Kasi I'm sooo bored dito sa bahay. Just trying to fill up boxes kasi dun sa gagamitin naming courier minimum of 3 boxes eh 1 1/2 box pa lang nagagawa ko hehehe. Kailangan ko na din ba dalhin mga scrubs ko?

ok lang yon. ang kaso maaapektuhan ako ng new regulations ng CNO kung wala pa akong visa by the end of July. Sana dumating na siya. I assume nurse ka rin sa Ontario. Mahirap ba ang exam? thanks

CNO will not process your application until you pay their application fee. Ang mahal nga for international graduates. I already paid for the examination fee (exam is set on October). Ang problema pag wala pa akong visa by the end of July, I am forced to withdraw my exam. application by August so I can get a full refund. If not, gone is the $508.50. Pero mas malaki ang problema if I could't sit for the exam this year. I have no choice but to reapply by Jan. 2013. A new regulation that will take effect next year requires applicants to reapply if they have not met all the requirements for registration within two years from the day they file their application. August 2010 pa ko...Hay naku, masasayang lang ang lahat. If I were, you apply only if you are sure you have the visa. We are working against a time frame here...
