I understand that you are a Philippine citizen and also a Permanent Resident of Canada and also that you have sponsored another Philippine citizen living in the Philippines. If that is correct, there would be no problem from CIC's point of view with you taking a vacation to visit your partner in the Philippines.

A minor effect would be a delay in accruing the 1095 days to apply for citizenship but that is nothing. Go and Enjoy!

Magandang gabi po sa lahat,
new lang po ako, ask po ako sana if anyone has heard of my situation. i am the sponsor so this is regarding my wife's application. they asked for her pp and medical back in jan. 4, 2013, received and processed jan 11.
of this yr. for 2 weeks we were unable to access ecas until this morning or last night Phil time. it says "in process" but it also says "medical results received". does this mean it is DM or is it still in limbo? if anyone can shed some light for me i will greatly appreciate. thank you in advance

Good evening rin po jun2, nasa stage napo kayo na inprocess wag po kayong mag taka kung hindi kayo maka pasok sa ECAS kasi parang sira yung ECAS lately,marami po ding naka experience na hindi sila maka login. From PPR to DM it take weeks or months po bago kayo mag Decision Made, depindi na po sa visa officer na humahawak po sa application ng wife mo.

pwede nyo pung check ang timeline ng ibang applicants :), pwede ko rin po malaman timeline nyo?, salamat

maraming salamat po. ah 1 more po ask ko kasi before po nawala ang ecas nya wala pa po ang medical received pero ngayon na bumalik na ulit ang ecas meron na. kaso naka lagay in process padin. pero hopefully malapit na rin po. thank you sa reply nyo po.
