hahaha batch mates here's some light ..

evamegons .. 176 days since ppr date 5/29 and 233 visa date 7/25 .. about 60 days diff ..
rianray16 181 days since ppr date 5/27 and 237 visa date 7/24 again about 60 days
rocris 180 days since ppr date 5/16 and 246 visa date 7/20 66 working days ..
sjack 202 days since ppr date 5/9 and 278 visa date 7/24 76 working days ..
to safely assume .. add atleast 60 days on your ppr date .. thats about 8 weeks .. =)) but be generous enough make the adjustment to 10 weeks ..

so for me .. ppr date july 4th .. sent passport of my wife on july 9th .. + 10 weeks would be

expecting .. 1st or 2nd week of september if there was no delays on it .. hope this gives light and that others would not worry so much if there's nothing till then ..
Looks good if you cherry pick your data. Now look back at those apps that have PPRs but no visas from as far back as February 2012. They contradict your numbers. In fact according to your 10 weeks my wife should be with me already. There are a lot of factors affecting the times. A simple count of days after PPR doesn't tell the whole story. Also many PPRs ask for different information that is missing from the application that may lead to additional processing or time lags.

If you want a measure that might be a little better, the time for 80% of apps using all available data for completed applications only is 13 weeks. But as I said, individual times will vary, and may vary by a lot (both higher and lower). Also note that I have not included apps with PPRs that have not obtained visas yet, which would skew the average weeks even higher.

The main point here is that if 10 weeks passes since your PPR and you have no visa yet don't worry yourself needlessly. And if you do get it in that time, then count yourself lucky.

I pick my data with the same case as mine.. Filipino married to a filipino.. Then i compare their timeline to mine..it might not go right as any statistics do.. But would make people like me feel comfy and not worried.. At the mean time .. I didnt take other cases into consideration since most of the delayed ones are married to canadians not filipinos.. Its way faster to give a judgement of a genuine marriage if they'd see you grown from the same place.. Because traditions and way of living are the same and pretty sure that you'd know who you really married .. For me my wife had been my classmate since high school and school mate in college :)) so im not worried that proving my papers real would be that long

Samples on my previous post are just some of the most recent visa.. Took them as a sample since really cant rely on the spreadsheet since im sure most of the people there are inactive .. And many more are not listed .. As a sampler you have to try seperating the good data from the bad data .. Having an average on all the applications are not good either since many of those who got delayed are cause of not complete package

Also not saying that id be right... Its just something to give my batch mates peace if mind and a clue when to expect updates
Still cherry picking... And if the cases selected apply most to your case then they are not representative for most others here you are offering the numbers to.

hehehe tutuloy tuloy na yan expect some more delays .. but im sure things would still flow as is ..i do believe that we are on the right track .. especially most of us here are filipino married to filipino ..be positive lng january applicants went thru smooth ..

merong mga delayed sa earlier applicants and they grief about it .. but if you'll look at it some of them didnt had complete package or married to "people born in canada" or had a previous marriage which is harder to prove as genuine relationship .. so stay positive lng tayo .. makakaraos din =) i've cherry picked some data .. but im pretty sure that we'll have our visa " pinaka maaga na end of august " and im hoping im right about this .. "" i maybe wrong always take that into consideration ""

if ever you got offended by this i am sorry about it it's only my opinion and please forgive me

hindi filipino ang husband ko... am i in the wrong thread? ???
i dont agree on the "married to people born in Canada" part. it's kinda a rude comment despite your forgive me note at the bottom. it's like you punched somebody and said sorry. I'm sorry pero i was taught not to open my mouth unless i have something good to say. We're all impatiently waiting here so i hope naman wag natin i single out ang mga married sa "people born in Canada". Sana naman instead na mag single out tayo lets try to encourage each other to keep the hope alive not kill their hopes. di ba "person not born in Canada"?
Anyway, it's your opinion.lol I can say the otherwise din naman.its just so inconsiderate.

How did you learn pala na those applicants you cherry picked are not married to "people born in Canada" ? just curious.

hINDI rin ako agree sa post ni marcjd. Para bang sinasabi nya kapag married ka sa canadian citizen hahaba ang paghihintay.
When he said married to people born in canada para naman napakarude ang salitang ito.Napakasakit sa part ko kasi canadian ang hubby ko. Hindi kahit canadian citizen ang partner mo it takes longer para magkavisa. It's case to cases basis po iyan. You better to shut your mouth nalang at sana hindi ka nalang nagbother magpost nang ganyan.Nakakaoffend yung message mo.

hey guys! just take it easy...chill a bit...we are all here to help each other and cheer one another in times like this...we should stick together! im sure marcjd took a lot of time to analyzed and sort things how CEM does it...let's give him/her credit for that. Maybe the only mistake marcjd did was the wrong choice of word. And beside, people here can make a lot comments but at the end of the day it will just only be 'you'
Basta, lahat tayo dito pantay-pantay at lahat naghihintay ng visa...walang short-cut! It's pretty obvious that cranberries and April13 was offended by what marcjd commented but as what they say...it's a case to case basis! we'll never know...we just have to have that patience and faith that this will soon be over and we'll soon be reunited with better-halves :) peace to all :)

yeah i know it's offending thats why i said sorry .. scos asked me how i did it and how was it sorted .. so i just answered him .. and that didnt work for him .. i analyzed the data for january applicants comparing it to other data in the spreadsheet .. my point is the data that i was gathering was for me .. or some that are the same case with me .. fil maried to fil ..

the data i showed wont be of any use to other months applicants thats why it was posted here on january thread ..

im not saying that 100% it surely be delayed if married ka sa born in canada ..but please be open minded and put some effort to check the backgrounds of the ones that are delayed .. "no one does bakit mo gagawin diba ?? " so ako gusto ko ng maayos na data .. i cherry picked it .. because i want to have an idea when possible na lalabas ang visa ng january applicants .. nde para mang offend .. i cant stop you from being offended .. not everybody see's the things the same way as others thats the reason of conflicts ..

i only ask you guys to be open minded .. i made a data from the spreadsheet for us to be prepared and have an idea when visa could be release .. that way it stops people from overthinking and reacting that there's no movements on their applications .. as i said .. it takes about 8 to 10 weeks to get visa for july applicants ... we cannot compare how fast other months ppr process to ours .. becuase we have a different timeline as theirs ..

but if you cherry picked the data .. and try to scramble it would give you idea how it is processed ..

i know scos was a good member here in the forums yeah he created the spreadsheet ..thanks to him i could gather data and make a statistics out of it .. if you would just rely on the spreadsheet it doesnt really give you anything you have to dig into it .. on why and what happen that they had troubles in their applications ..

1 instance is having a ppr and sending it a week later .. sending your ppr a week later and following the ppr date as a data ??? lol misleading already ..
sending passport 1 week later after the request wont mean that you'd get your visa the same date as the others that received the request on the same day and sent their passport on that day as well

i hope you get it .. if not i don't blame you .. just tried to share some light if you dont want it .. you can just disregard it ..

im sure it's not 100% effective sa timeline .. but i got my ppr on the week that i was expecting it to arrive .. so its worth a try .. yeah some april and may applicants got their visa in 3 to 5 weeks time .. but we are different from them .. we got our ppr in the middle of the strike when things went slow .. so dont expect they will issue visa the same time they did before ..

to april 13 .. yeah im sorry that was my opinion also you're a november crossing over the january applicants thread .. im giving light to my batchmates because im sure our papers would go fine without any troubles like the applicants in other months .. the whole january applicants got their ppr in a timely manner we all got it the month of july .. so the data i cherry picked only works on our batch and doesnt involve you guys from other months .. again .. please investigate the ones delayed before you comment ...

im not starting a fight just saying .. my opinion .. i would understand if you're a january applicant complaining on what i posted .. but nah .. you're not so i dont really care ..

hi .. im saying that the ones that are delayed are mostly "divorced remarried / married to born in canada / incomplete package ".. im not implying that because you are married to someone born in canada you will get delayed ...
