Looks good if you cherry pick your data. Now look back at those apps that have PPRs but no visas from as far back as February 2012. They contradict your numbers. In fact according to your 10 weeks my wife should be with me already. There are a lot of factors affecting the times. A simple count of days after PPR doesn't tell the whole story. Also many PPRs ask for different information that is missing from the application that may lead to additional processing or time lags.marcjd said:hahaha batch mates here's some light ..
evamegons .. 176 days since ppr date 5/29 and 233 visa date 7/25 .. about 60 days diff ..
rianray16 181 days since ppr date 5/27 and 237 visa date 7/24 again about 60 days
rocris 180 days since ppr date 5/16 and 246 visa date 7/20 66 working days ..
sjack 202 days since ppr date 5/9 and 278 visa date 7/24 76 working days ..
to safely assume .. add atleast 60 days on your ppr date .. thats about 8 weeks .. =)) but be generous enough make the adjustment to 10 weeks ..
so for me .. ppr date july 4th .. sent passport of my wife on july 9th .. + 10 weeks would be
expecting .. 1st or 2nd week of september if there was no delays on it .. hope this gives light and that others would not worry so much if there's nothing till then ..

Still cherry picking... And if the cases selected apply most to your case then they are not representative for most others here you are offering the numbers to.marcjd said:I pick my data with the same case as mine.. Filipino married to a filipino.. Then i compare their timeline to mine..it might not go right as any statistics do.. But would make people like me feel comfy and not worried.. At the mean time .. I didnt take other cases into consideration since most of the delayed ones are married to canadians not filipinos.. Its way faster to give a judgement of a genuine marriage if they'd see you grown from the same place.. Because traditions and way of living are the same and pretty sure that you'd know who you really married .. For me my wife had been my classmate since high school and school mate in college ) so im not worried that proving my papers real would be that long
Samples on my previous post are just some of the most recent visa.. Took them as a sample since really cant rely on the spreadsheet since im sure most of the people there are inactive .. And many more are not listed .. As a sampler you have to try seperating the good data from the bad data .. Having an average on all the applications are not good either since many of those who got delayed are cause of not complete package
Also not saying that id be right... Its just something to give my batch mates peace if mind and a clue when to expect updates
Congrats Cymerjake!!!!! I got teary eyed when i read this.lol!!!!so happy for you!!!!!!!cymerjake said:GOD is GOOOOOOOD...Guys I got my PPR today.... I am so happy...

YAY!!!!!! lahat na tayo meron na PPR at least malaking weight na natanggal sa tin. Did u guys noticed the last person na nakatanggap ng visa nung 7/25/2013? Ang PPR nya is 5/29/2013....palapit na sa June ang bbigyan nila ng visa.kunting tiis nalang
marcjd said:hehehe tutuloy tuloy na yan expect some more delays .. but im sure things would still flow as is ..i do believe that we are on the right track .. especially most of us here are filipino married to filipino ..be positive lng january applicants went thru smooth ..
merong mga delayed sa earlier applicants and they grief about it .. but if you'll look at it some of them didnt had complete package or married to "people born in canada" or had a previous marriage which is harder to prove as genuine relationship .. so stay positive lng tayo .. makakaraos din =) i've cherry picked some data .. but im pretty sure that we'll have our visa " pinaka maaga na end of august " and im hoping im right about this .. "" i maybe wrong always take that into consideration ""
if ever you got offended by this i am sorry about it it's only my opinion and please forgive me
hINDI rin ako agree sa post ni marcjd. Para bang sinasabi nya kapag married ka sa canadian citizen hahaba ang paghihintay.cranberries said:hindi filipino ang husband ko... am i in the wrong thread? ???
i dont agree on the "married to people born in Canada" part. it's kinda a rude comment despite your forgive me note at the bottom. it's like you punched somebody and said sorry. I'm sorry pero i was taught not to open my mouth unless i have something good to say. We're all impatiently waiting here so i hope naman wag natin i single out ang mga married sa "people born in Canada". Sana naman instead na mag single out tayo lets try to encourage each other to keep the hope alive not kill their hopes. di ba "person not born in Canada"?
Anyway, it's your opinion.lol I can say the otherwise din naman.its just so inconsiderate.
How did you learn pala na those applicants you cherry picked are not married to "people born in Canada" ? just curious.
yeah i know it's offending thats why i said sorry .. scos asked me how i did it and how was it sorted .. so i just answered him .. and that didnt work for him .. i analyzed the data for january applicants comparing it to other data in the spreadsheet .. my point is the data that i was gathering was for me .. or some that are the same case with me .. fil maried to fil ..April13 said:hINDI rin ako agree sa post ni marcjd. When he said married to people born in canada para naman napakarude ang salitang ito.Napakasakit sa part ko kasi canadian ang hubby ko. Hindi kahit canadian citizen ang partner mo it takes longer para magkavisa. It's case to cases basis po iyan. You better to shut your mouth nalang at sana hindi ka nalang nagbother magpost nang ganyan.Nakakaoffend yung message mo.
hi .. im saying that the ones that are delayed are mostly "divorced remarried / married to born in canada / incomplete package ".. im not implying that because you are married to someone born in canada you will get delayed ...cranberries said:hindi filipino ang husband ko... am i in the wrong thread? ???
