dont worry vineyard..sure ng mr mo..taga saan ka ba?kung manila ka lang mabilis ang pagreceive..pag province medyo matagal..ako dec 15 started processing..pero un mr date ko is Jan 4..tpos received ata mga Jan 8..kaya give it a little more time..darating yan.. :)

So, if January ka nag medical maybe April pa yan. Let's pray lahat tayo mag ka visa and achieve our goal. thanks

14 days from now.. March 2012 will say goodbye to us. and it will be 2 months that the Canadian Embassy of Manila has stopped working for MI3 applicants. :) what are they up to?
"For permanent resident applications, we will contact you regarding the next stage of your application not earlier than 3 months after our medical office receives the medical examination results from the Designated Medical Practitioner. This is true only if you have already complied with our other requests (e.g. to submit other documents)....
This office will not respond to case status enquiries within the processing times indicated above. If you have not heard from us within these processing times, you can submit an enquiry for a case status update."

Hindi pa late. Yan ang processing time na sinabi sa CEM. After siguro ng mid April, you may contact them re. the next step of the process.

ooohhh... How about for those who are waiting for MRs? How long should an applicant wait to see something coming? and as well for those who have already complied with CEM requests.

Amazing, Thanks. If additional line sa ECAS, "We started processing your application....." then, maybe 10 to 20 days based sa timeline darating ang MR, mabilis daw pag sa Manila ang address. In my timeline, Feb. 26 na received ng VO ang docs ko, in March 05 additional line sa ECAS dumating. It means i think if complete na background check "We started processing your application...." will add sa ECAS natin. God bless

From what I saw it varies greatly from a week after file transfer to 3 months after file transfer. My MR took quite a long time (almost 4 months after file transfer. Grabe stress ko nun kaka-speculate ano nangyari) due to the interview I had last January. Some Manila VO applicants received theirs just a week or two after file transfer. If everything goes smoothly, no interviews or requests for additional docs , 2 months tops from file transfer would be a safe approximate.

Hello. I found it sa website ng CEM. Updated yung site last January 13 lang. I browsed it before ako nagpa medical.

Go to "Visa and Immigration". Scroll down a little you will see "Quick Links", there's a link "Medical exam requirements".

After a medical examination with the Designated Medical Practitioner, the results are sent to our medical office for review. The medical office then sends their assessment to our visa section.

For temporary resident (visitor, student, worker) applications, we will contact you regarding the next stage of your application not earlier than 3 weeks after your medical examination.

For permanent resident
applications, we will contact you regarding the next stage of your application not earlier than 3 months after our medical office receives the medical examination results from the Designated Medical Practitioner. This is true only if you have already complied with our other requests (e.g. to submit other documents).

If you would like to check when our medical office received your medical examination results, contact your Designated Medical Practitioner to get the tracking number for the delivery. Check the delivery company’s website or phone them to confirm the date of the delivery.

For complicated cases or where additional medical information is required, the processing of your medical assessment will take longer. You will be notified by our medical office if further medical information is required. The length of the delay will depend on the nature of the medical condition being investigated. Your Designated Medical Practitioner can explain further.

This office will not respond to case status enquiries within the processing times indicated above. If you have not heard from us within these processing times, you can submit an enquiry for a case status update. Include:

the name of the Designated Medical Practitioner you visited;
the date of the medical exam;
the tracking number of the package containing your medical examination results (contact your Designated Medical Practitioner for this information);
the date that the delivery company delivered the package (contact the delivery company for this information); and
your application file number.

Can I have a medical exam done in advance to speed up my application?

No. Unless you are being sponsored as a spouse, partner or dependent child, do not initiate any medical tests until you receive instructions and a personalized medical form from this office. Only original forms stamped by the visa section and indicating a valid file number will be accepted by Designated Medical Practitioners. We cannot issue medical instructions or forms until we have received your complete application.

Your examination results are only valid for 12 months from the date of your initial examination.
If you are not admitted to Canada within this time, you will be required to undergo another medical examination.
