I think that at the peak of the Strike they were still collecting passports...seems to me there was plenty in August..and now a standstill...focusing on the October and November applicant whose med expire?

We're waiting too...trying to be patient..anyhow what I think is that it doesn't matter...cause they're still going to stretch most apps to the 14 month timeline? We're not happy about it but what can we do? If I expect the worse and they provide our Visa sooner than GOOD! Six months now that they've had our app....this week I requested our case file to see if ANYTHING has been done on it yet..

Well, that could be the reason...long file of backlog from the strike. I hope that they will not stretch and maximize the 14 months timeline for us...coz the waiting period could really be sooo frustrating...

There were some April applicants that were asked for their PPRs...unfortunately, they are not a member of this forum. This means that despite the backiogs and all...some Visa Officers are doing their job on the right time...good for them and goodluck to all of us who are still waiting. Hopefully at the end of this month or next month, we'll be able to get our PPRs.

Anyways, God is good! God's time is always perfect. We'll never know...Again, goodluck to all of us

Same here!!! My ecas says nothing about my medical...just "Application Recieved"....been calling the clinic where I had my medical 6 months ago & they said that they forwarded it with CIC...and it really pissed me a lot when I cant't get an exact answer from them...well!

We are planning to get our gcms notes anytime soon to ...maybe before the month ends...btw, where did u had your medical? Here in manila or in canada? Did you guys hire a lawyer?

I really hope to hear from CEM this week for the PPR.

Hello April applicants!!! Madami na po ba nagka-ppr sa inyo? Pansin ko lang kasi parang hindi ngayon masyado nagrerelease ng ppr ang cem unlike before very consistent. Like un january applicants, july nakareceived ng ppr, un feb naman august, march applicants they got their in September then sunod sunod na. so im expecting na un april applicants October ang ppr, pero almost patapos na ang month parang wala masyado nagppr na april applicants.. kaya un ineexpect ko na ppr naming mga May applicants na dadating ng November, mukang malabo..hays, nakakabaliw maghintay! sana magka-ppr na kayong lahat before the month ends. Lord please hear our prayers!

Same here!!! My ecas says nothing about my medical...just "Application Recieved"....been calling the clinic where I had my medical 6 months ago & they said that they forwarded it with CIC...and it really pissed me a lot when I cant't get an exact answer from them...well!

My wife had her medicals done in Cebu....and she's phoned to confirm that they were sent too...
We just filed on our own and submitted everrything according to the check list..

dapat approved na kayo sa stage 1, kasi 28 day lang naman processing time for sponsor that time.kami di nakarecieve ng mail,we only found out about my hubby's approval as sponsor nung tumawag na cya sa CIC
so better call them and ask..

application received and medical results received pa din status namin..
medyo aabot pa ng ilang months paghihintay natin kasi madami pang mga june and july PPR's
na di pa nagkakavisa..
sana madaliin ng CEM yung mga matagal nang nag-aantay..para tayo naman ang sunod
