good question, i also came across the same question, i did save to pdf on Nov 24th, and on my saved pdf there was a signature place.
today i tried to retrieve my saved presence calculator and tried to print, and now there is no place for sign.
i am going to print two copies:
1. will sign
2. will not sign

any advise on it?

My Question also the same thing.

The New Physical presence calculator (PPC) still Showing application date and PPC date should be same. But there is no signature option and date option in PPC.

I supposed to apply last week. Because of this confusion, I Postponed until few weeks

Hey, IRCC do not require a signature for the PPC anymore. They do not require it for the online application. I still suggest you sign at the bottom to be safe.

I'm facing the same problem with the Signature option. I guess we have to sign & date with same date of the Citizenship application as this requirement is still written on the new version without the signature.

In your case, you only have to declare absences within the eligibility period. This is actually a tricky case because if you enter the date from 2015, the physical presence calculator might calculate the presence incorrectly. You might need a letter of explanation to explain this situation. You might want to use the 2016-02-07 as the date you left BUT you must explain this in a letter clearly.

This is the first case of its kind that I have seen so it might be better to get multiple opinions before proceeding further.

Or better, try entering both the dates in the physical presence calculator and see if it gives you the same physical presence. If it does, then use the 'actual date'.

I have a question about Q.9a of the citizenship application form. It asks you to put the 'To' date from the online physical presence calculator. My question: Is the To date the 'application date' on the online calculator or is it the last date of the eligibility period?

The online physical presence calculator generated an eligibility period for me based on my information. This eligibility period is From 30.01.16 To 29.01.21. And my application date is 30.01.2021.

However, on the citizenship application Q.9a asks to put the 'To' date from the calculator (i.e. 29.01.21) on a box. When I am entering the To date in the specified box on the form, the form is automatically generating a From Date which is 29.01.16. So according to the form the eligibility period is 29.01.16 - 29.01.21. However, according to the online calculator it's 30.01.16 - 29.01.21. Will this create any confusion?

Can someone tell me what date you put as the To date (Q.9a) on the citizenship application form from the online calculator?
