I applied for refugee claim inside Canada on 28 jan 2020 and came to Canada on 2 October 2019 on visitor visa. My claim got accepted in 2021 Mar and I became pr. My question is that if I want to apply for Canadian citizenship, can the time spent from 2 Oct 2019 to 28 Jan 2020 be Calculated as physical presence. ?

No. Only since you got notice of decision and became a convention refugee/protected person. Everyday is half until you got your pr.

Every day is half means if it takes 3 years to get PR it will be considered 1.5 years?
Because someone told me as much time as you passed after protected person status till PR will be count maximum 1 year.

You can only count 1 year of this time towards citizenship. Two years of residency has to be post PR.

what you heard is correct, the maximum number of days you can count towards your citizenship before you get your PR is the equivalent of 1 year (so 2 years stay calculated at 0.5 day)
