Hello Friends,

So for the dates that I was outside Canada.... for Instance I went for a vacation ...there is no departure stamp (left the country on 28/12/2015) from the immigration in Canada but there is one when I arrived. (27/01/2016) .

For the FROM and TO date for the absence calculation should I be putting in those same dates? do those dates count as me being IN Canada? I do have more than enough days that I have been in Canada just want to be sure I give what the application wants.

Thank you

Yes you put FROM 28/12/2015 TO 27/01/2016 as absent times. They do NOT count as days you being in Canada.

from my testing, both of the departure day and arrival day will be counted as being in Canada
Any one can confirm?

the day you depart and the day you arrive back are days in Canada no matter how much actual time.
