Photos vs photocopies

Hello

My wife has to provide a photocopy of her divorce certificate from her previous marriage, however she has unfortunately lost said certificate. We did have it at one stage as we needed it when we got married and i have a photo of it that i sent to the registrar. Do you think that a printed copy of the photo would be acceptable to send in my application instead of a photocopy?

As it's all you have, submit it.

She should apply for a replacement certificate.

Is it already digital? Edit it to make it look more like a photocopy. Zoom it in and trim it down if necessary so it's the size of the scanned document. Probably not much difference.

But yes, apply for a replacement for backup.

Yes it is digital, i was going to try editing it tomorrow and re-photocopying and it may look like a photocopy of the original. I'll give that a go.
