Hi all, just have two questions.

I understand that we need to provide studio photos (my country requires 9), however, I have a two-month old baby whose head does not sit yet. Will the CIC make an exception for babies and accept my photo taken from home? (with pale/white background and good quality...).

Also, once the visa comes through, is there a time limit for entering Canada? (e.g. within 3 months).

Any info will help! Thanks.

i suggest you still bring your baby to the photo studio :) most photo studios can do something about your baby. They can take a picture of him/her laying down and still meet the requirements set by the country.

Re. your second questions. The 'limit' is the same as the visa expiry. in most cases, the visa expiry is the same as the expiry of your medical exam or your passport .

Agreed with xmplx, take your baby with you to the studio :)
You can hold the baby higher, the photographer will shoot the picture and remove any unwanted elements.
If the baby opens its mouth it's not a problem at all, cic understands that it's hard for the baby to strike the correct pose :)
