Photos accepted by IRCC? Where did you take them?

It seems like a common issue that IRCC rejects the photographs of most applicants due to not following the mandatory specs.

So for those who had their photos accepted (at last), where did you take them?

I'm in Toronto, for the record.

Any decent photo studio will do. It's just a photo, not that hard
I took mine at Shoppers.

It might also be the case that they might have misplaced the photos. I think most of the photo studios get it right if you show them the specs, but CIC might have misplaced them/not handle them carefully, and request for another set. This is quite common and there is no reason to doubt your photographer.

I know they are "just photos" and the studio should be able to reproduce the specs, however I've been reading a lot in the forum about people who had to submit the pictures 1, 2, 3 times. Each time they waste 1-2 months to get the card approved. I'm just trying to avoid that time waste.
