Hi, I have landed in Canada about a month ago and had already provided my photograph (which I carefully checked and made sure that they did in fact meet the requirements), however without any reason, I have been told that my photographs do not meet the required specification.

I am based in Toronto, is it possible to go in and speak to someone and hand new photos in person so that we can check there and then if the photos pass? I do not want to wait and risk having my application cancelled in 30 days!

Any help is much appreciated. I only have 30 days to sort this and I cant afford to wait to see if I have done it right. I have no idea whether new photographs will be accepted, as the original photographs were a perfect match for requirements.

Thanks

Just check the requirements again and send in a new photo within 30 days.
PR cards are processed at the case processing center in Sydney, NS. IRCC employees at your local IRCC office can't make a decision as to whether the photo satisfies the specification for the Sydney center anyway.

Calm down. No one will cancel your application. Worst case they ll charge you 50 bucks for a new PR card application.

Goto any walmart and tell them you need photos for a pr card. They know exact sizes and will stamp them for you as well. Send the pics by mail and they will get it under 10 working days.

Thanks for replying. They have said that after 30 days they will consider the application cancelled if the request is not completed. I dont want to wait 10 days to hear back that I only have another 20 days to re do it as they for some reason reject the new photos too.

Thanks for your reassurance though.

Hi,

I also had the same concern. And after sending the photos, generally how much time does it take to receive the PR card?

Thanks.

That depends on their printing cycle. Varies from 2-3 weeks from the day they receive to the day they post.
