Hi everyone,

I have a question about personal identification document. I have driver license which is gonna be one of my identification documents. I also have an Alberta health card but it doesn’t have a photo on it. IRCC website says I can put the biographical page of my passport but we are already putting one of that document. If I put one more of the same document... Just.... Seriously... I just don’t understand this at all! Can please someone help me? Thank you!

Anybody ?
photocopies of two (2) pieces of personal identification.

Examples of identification you can use include:

  • a copy of the biographical page of your passport/travel document (as requested above and also can be one (1) of your pieces of personal identification)
  • driver’s licence
  • health insurance card
  • senior citizen identification card
  • age of majority card
  • foreign identity documents, such as a passport or government issued identification documents

Ah okay. Alberta Health Card doesn’t have photo unfortunately. So we already prove one copy of biographical passport page. Should we provide two, one for that one for the personal identification purpose. Thank you very much for your help!

Any more opinions? Two copies of biographical pages enough? Since it doesn’t have photo, Alberta health card wouldn’t be enough right? I’m sending my application tomorrow so trying to make everything clear.. Thank you!
