My photo is actually 35x45 but when scanned it becomes 888x1056.... Is it a problem?

Yes, that would be an issue. I tried scanning an existing picture that I had and the sizes didn't add up. So I ended up telling the photo studio guy to email me the picture after they had the correct dimensions in photoshop

35x45 mm. 888x1056 is pixel size. You're comparing different scales there.

got to know you need to scan the back of the photo as well with your name and DOB written on it?
