Hello!

Is there someone here used the form 3905e_philippines checklist? I would like to ask if passport photo I.D. is required for applying visa?
Hoping to hear from you guys. Thanks in adavance!

prvc is right. Bring the photo spec at any photo studio. Ours were done at Great Image Had 2 sets made by them. One as required by CIC as instructed on the checklist, 50mm x 70mm, the other one is the passport sized 45mm x 35mm as required by panel physician.

Baka kasi iba pala tinutukoy niya. Baka yung Passport Biopage. Yung kasi yung Passport Photo ID. Hehe. Siguro naman yung photo specs no? Hehe

None stated on the Photo Spec about passport sized. But since panel physician requires passport sized photo, so my earlier response answers his/her question. The Picture City provided you envelope for the photos made for CIC? Natuwa ako sa Great Image kasi meron silang envelopes depending on the photos made. For sure makita ni CIC na sa kanila talaga galing yung photos because of their customized envelope. Buti nga din they used stamp and not hand-written yung nasa back nung isang photo.

If your applying in Canada and sending through the Mississauga, the checklist does not ask for the photos. But if you applying in Manila, it states on the checklist that the photos are required.

This is on the checklist from form "3905e Manila"
PHOTOS
Supply two (2) recent photos for each member of your family and yourself (accompanying and
non-accompanying). Photos submitted must be properly labeled at the back with the applicant's
name, date of birth and signature. Follow the instructions in Appendix B: Photo Specifications.

Has anyone here who has applied through Canada obtained the photo ID?

Also, if photos are required, does my wife need to get a photo of her mother, father, 2 brothers and her son if there are "non-accompanying"?

We already did the upfront medical for my wife and her son. The son is not accompanying right away but we did as instructed!

As you have quoted above, the Checklist does asked for photos. When the Principal Applicant sends his/her package to the Sponsor in Canada, the 2 photos mentioned (for each family member and the PA whether accompanying or non-accompanying) should be part of the PAs package.

Hi, if application is for Spousal Sponsorship and as per Guide 3999, Family Members mentioned are: Spouse, Common-law partner, Dependent Children, Dependent Child of a dependent child.

Did u guys just handwritten ur name and ur birth date? also, the studio that i had been has their stamp, but the problem was their stamp wouldn't fit on the photo. They have to stamped it vertically instead horizontally. would that be okay?

Having the stamp vertically should work, I believe. As long as there is still enough space left to write your name and birth-date Please note also that the info needed at the back on one of the photos can be done either by stamp or hand-written (as per guide). As for my photos, the studio used their pretty neat stamp and am the one who wrote my name and birth-date
