Hey folks!

I'm planning on doing my photo evidence like this:

1. photos of my wife and I from when we first met until now (approx 40)
2. photos of my wife and I with each others families (approx 20)
3. our wedding photos (approx 17)

Should I include more wedding photos? I've included ones of the ceremony, family photos, photos showing how many people were there, our wedding party photos and also reception photos - speeches, cake, dance etc.

Also, I'm going to print these from a word.doc, arranged in a table. 1-3 pictures per page with a description next to each photo of who is in it, where it is, when it was taken and if there was an occasion. Is this ok? The prints will be high quality color prints.

Thanks!

That's more than double the amount of photos that we sent. As long as you have a good selection of photos, from various events, showing the passing of time as well as you with your partner's family, you should be fine.
Sending more photos of the same thing is not that helpful. It's better to send photos of 5 different events, rather than 5 of the same event. That said, you are not from a high-risk country, so what you have sounds more than adequate.

Thanks! Every photo is from a different occasion so should be good.

Any info on whether putting them in a table in a word doc is fine?

I put them all in one doc, in chronological order. I wrote it all in the third person and noted in the table of contents that I made that this was done for the sake of clarity. In each photo description I wrote when it was taken, where, who was in the photo and the occasion. I also cross referenced friends/family to the forms where they were referenced i.e. John Smith, (listed in form IMM 5540 question 14 as well as in Envelope 3 Proof of Genuine Relationship, item 2 Statutory declarations from friends and family

Wow. Pretty detailed. Nice. Not aure if ill.be able to go to those lenghts.

Question about the people mentioned on other forms. Im assuming thats where they ask about people your spouse and you have et. Do we only fill in the form or provide details of all the people theyve met? Cos that could go on for pages and pages.

You might want to include a photo of your engagement party and honeymoon (if you had these). I seem to be remember the "proof of relationship" form asks specifically to include photo evidence of both of them :)

I was inspired, and also did almost the same thing for the overall package that the OP on this thread did for theirs:

For the question about family and friends the applicant has met, I personally would attach a separate list so I could include more people than there are space for in the question. However, you do not have to list everyone they've met. The most important people should be listed, then you can add a note that the applicant has met many other acquaintances as well.

Yeah, we've known each other since 2009 so putting that list would be really long. We put the family members each other met and a couple of friends. I'm sure this would be ok, but thanks for at least saying I should include a note :)

I would put the close family members and friends first, and if you would like to include a note as well, you can. You could list the more distant relatives there and state that you have met a lot of each other's friends and family and that a full list would take up too much space, but that you would be happy to provide one if requested. Some people do that with their chat logs, myself included. I sent a small sample of my e-mails and said that I would send each and every one upon request (they did not request that).

yeah. ive put parents, siblings, grandparents and then a friend or two. Might just include a note saying, there are more people we could include and would be happy to provide a list if they wanted it. But don't think i'll make a list of a bunch of other people. is it likely theyd ask for one considering we have photo proof, letters, joint bank accounts? we dont really have anything other than those things because we never email or IM each other.
