What do you mean when you say "incorrect photo"? Is it a photo of you but it doesn't meet specifications? Or did you upload a photo of someone else by mistake?

hi the photo was correct and it was in jpg i.e 35mmx45mm but cic website states to upload pic in jpeg or jpeg2000 so I tried to convert jpg to jpeg and then the file changed to jpeg but increased in size i.e 700mmx800mm something. I didn't noticed that until I uploaded all documents. now there's no option to change the pic online. just wondering what happens next???

The *.jpg extension is JPEG format.

NO there is no mistake.... to make you understand the short abbreviation for JPEG is JPG, They are really the same thing with no difference. Nothing to worry about file formats. btw you cannot upload a wrong file extension, if it gets upload then it is a correct file format.

in worst case if cic thinks that the photo is not correct or does not meet their criteria then you will be asked to provide a new photo. you wont be rejected because of this..:) relax

hope it helps
