Philippines - Payment for Visa Application

Hello Everyone,

RE: Fees must be paid by bank draft, certified cheque, postal money order, or manager's cheque payable to the “Canadian Embassy, Manila”. Cheques can be issued by any local or international banks and post offices and should be valid for at least 6 months upon submission of your application. If bank drafts are issued from a bank in Canada in Canadian dollars, the "drawee" must be left blank. Fees can only be paid in Canadian Dollar and Philippine Peso currencies although it is advisable to pay in Canadian Dollars to avoid currency fluctuation. Cash payment is not accepted.

I am looking for assistance on the best place to get
1) Bank Draft
2) Certified Cheque OR
3) Postal Money Order

Currently located in the small town of Bansalan and work in Digos...this is Davao del Sur. I am an hour away from Davao. I don't have a bank account but will have cash in hand.

I am ruling out going to canadian embassy located at Makati city Philippines and paying cash due to cost of travel.

Is there a Bank or Financial institution close to Davao that will allow the purchase of any of the 3 above? Also, what is the fee?

Hi there! going to manila is way too expensive i bet.

NO NEED TO HAVE AN ACCOUNT in a bank, just go to any bank kunwari BDO and purchase a MANAGER's CHECK they will give you even if you dont have account , just provide them yung name ng PAYEE, VFS Services Phil. Pvt. Inc. then pay the amount asked on top the amount is mga 50 pesos para dun sa managers check. lagay mo lang din yung purpose embassy service fee.. ganyan. hope thats helpful

Hi need pa po ba ng account para sa managers cheque..

helo po tanong ko lang po sana naka tanggap na po kame nang passport request galing sa IRCC kung dalawa po kame ng step son ko seperate po ba ng envelope ang passport ko at passport ng step son ko or pwede na po namin pag sabayin sa iisang envelope lang pag nag padala mo sa LBC? at sa manager's cheque naman po iisang cheque lang din po ba or tig iisa din po kame nang manager's cheque? please po sana may maka sagot po salamat
