TA and RA do not give any points neither in work experience nor in current work. You can check your eligibility and find out your points.
As far as I know EE only cares about your points, so if you have enough you'll get ITA and hopefully PR. As f1ahmed said there is no separate category for phD as it should be. I don't know though if they take it into account for the PR decision.
I am a phD student in Canada and I applied under FSW (I had 1.5 y full time work experience in an eligible occupation) and I got ITA so at least there is hope
