Anyone who applied for Visa in PHD stream in June please share your visa status. when you did apply? and when have you got your visa approved and how did you take the application through VFS or Online?

Applied online on July 8 (study permit for myself and TRV for spouse)
Online status as of today shows medical is pending.
Had completed few days before applying and uploaded scanned copy of acknowledgement slip.
Still awaiting update from CIC.

Hello,
As far as I know, there are no hard and fast rules for the duration of completion of your PhD. However, in minimum it takes 3 years and 6 in maximum (it mostly depends on the nature of your research and supervision). Majority of students take up to 4 years to finish.
