Pharmacists taking the Evaluating Examination

Hello fellow pharmacists
I have just joined this forum and found it already very helpful!
I'm a pharmacist planning to take the evaluating exam but won't make it to Jan 2016...
To those of you outside of Canada I would like to ask:
what is the ideal preparation time? and did you take any online prep course?

You will go by tourist visa? and if the exam booking is useful to avoid visa rejection?
