Pharm.D. from Pakistan (5 years program) - Equivalent CRS System?

Hi,

I want to get my ECA done. I am a pharmacist with a license in Pakistan (Home Country) but I am not a clinical pharmacist. I work as Manager QA and Healthcare Projects (Experience 6 years altogether) in Pakistan.

If I get my degree assessed by WES or ICAS, what would be equivalent degree (as per CRS) that I'd receive?

Also, I have done my B.Ed. (8 months) and M.Ed. (10 months) to serve my part time occupation (teaching science to higher secondary students). Will I get any weight-age for these two degrees along with my Pharm.D.?

As per CIC ECA convertion table 5year or more years of professional university study in Pharmacy is equivalent to masters at University level and gets you 23points.

As far as B.Ed goes, to teach in Canada, they require B.Ed however they recognize courses with more than 2 year duration...hence your less than an year course (both) are likely to be assessed as post secondary education in the field of education with an unrecognized Canadian equivalent(as remarked by WES in another similar case with PG Diploma in Journalism)...it is unlikely that you may get any points for those two courses...

That means that if i get my Pharm.D. Credentials assessed by other than PEBC (eg. ICAS, WES, BCIT etc.), I would still get equivalent to Masters level (23 points). Please clarify as per your understanding

As PEBC is Complex & Costly, so being as a Industrial Pharmacist if I evaluate my B.Pharm degree by CES. what would be equivalent degree (as per CRS-FSW) that I'd receive from CES. Is CES will award it as First Professional Degree (FPD). What yours experience saying. Some Saying CES giving B.Pharm as FPD some saying Bachelor degree only. I am little bit confused .

If your NOC is pharmacist, which it is then you must get ECA through PEBC.

May give you undergrad degree or Masters. You will know when you get your ECA. No one can tell you for sure. What will your NOC be for your EE profile, if not a pharmacist?

No I am Planning for Marketing Manager NOC. But i also need Professional Equivalency for Claiming max points. So Some Says, CES also Give FPD for B.Pharm which i want to clear actually.

Honestly, you will not know until you get your ECA back. What is your CRS score with professional equivalency?

With professional its 496 without Professional its 481

Assume you have sibling in Canada or French as it is a very good score without a masters. How do you only lose 15 points?
