indeed. and as Christmas and new year approaches, i think the processing will be delayed further :(
yes, really disappointed with it, I have been waiting for about 100 days. no income, just waiting.
IRCC is so irresponsible.

Application number count doesn't really help. Since these are ALL wp apps. Not just PGWP.

I'm certain you'll hear something soon in a week or two, or after the holidays.

you can work on implied status, unless you restored your status alongside your pgwp application

Correct. If you got the letter to work until a certain date, you CAN work until you hear back from IRCC even beyond that date,

Hi. This is one of the thing I am concerned about. I applied on September 18, and on the letter I received, it says that I can work till Jan 16 2022 if a decision isnt made on my application before that. What would be my status after that tho? And where can I find more info regarding this?

Can you read the whole letter? Or past it here? I'm sure it says more than that.

Hey. Thank you for the quick reply. I'll quote exactly what it says,
"This confirms that your application has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on September 18, 2021.

Please attach this letter to your present Study permit number XXX as proof that you are authorized to work for any employer, in any occupation with no restrictions on hours until January 16, 2022 or until a decision is made on your application, whichever is first."

This period of work is authorized as per subsection 186 (w) of the Immigration and Refugees Protection Regulations."

PS: The doc is IMM 0127 E. If you search on Google Images, you'll get an Idea about it.

Thank you

I don't like the "whichever is first" condition.
Not sure why IRCC is making things complicated. But usually before they started sending out those letters, this was their explanation

Can I work while I am waiting to receive my post-graduation work permit?
You can work full-time while waiting for a decision on your post-graduation work permit application if, at the time you submitted your application, you:
  • had a valid study permit,
  • had completed your program of study,
  • were eligible to work off-campus without a permit, and
  • did not work off-campus more than 20 hours a week during academic sessions.
