Hi I completed my first course on August 2018 I took a gap of 4 months before continuing my second course but my study Permit extension got refused, I applied for restoration again but tge processing time is 53 days. I don’t think I can make it to January intake else I’ve to go to May intake which makes the gap of 8 months. Now I’m worried about will I get 3 years of work permit when I’m applying for PGWP? ( Both my course are in public school), someone help me with this.

As you didn't apply for a PGWP after your first course, you will be eligible for your second course

Hi

Your first program will not count towards a PGWP if you start your next course in May. The gap is too long. If you want a 3 year PGWP, you would need to take a third program.

There is no set processing time for Restoration. It can be anywhere from a few weeks to many months.

Hi guys!

I'm about to apply for PR under CEC. But I'm really confused about Employment Reference Letter.

So I finished my canadian 1 year Education in August 2017.
In September the same company with whom I did Internship(July-August2017), offered me full time Job, that I started.
Then I got transcripts from College in October and applied for PGWP on 19th October and got it approved on Dec 10 2017.
Counting my 1 Year of Experience from October 19 2017, I created my EE profile after 19 October 2018.(Because on CIC Website it says that we can work full time after submitting the application for PGWP)
Now I've ITA and about to apply for PR under CEC.

But the thing is how can I show to CIC that I'm claiming the work experience that I did only after applying PGWP and it was legal. Should I get Reference Letter from my Employer stating the starting the full time work after 19Th October

Recommend you post your question to the CEC section of the forum.

Please need help guys, can someone advise me here, i did a 2-year program full time but upon finishing my semester I failed one course and the school sign permission for me to take the online course with a different college and study permit was going to expire before I complete my online course, so I applied for SP ext but it was refused without specific rreasons, o now I have completed the program and I want to restore my status. So should I apply for RESTO, SP EX, and PGWP or enroll in a new Program. I'm I still eligible for PGWP, I'm so confused I'm getting a different opinion from consultants and Immigration agency
Is there anyone experienced this kind of problem or someone knows consultants that specifically deals with a student study permit and have more experience.

At this point, all you can really do is apply and see what they say. From what you've said, you don't qualify for a PGWP but you can try.

What is the timeline here how long since your SP expired? Are you sill within 90 day restoration window? Do you have valid status in Canada? By new rules you can apply for PGWP up to 6 month after completion and you dont need a study permit.

Your case is complicated since it seems you continued to studying with expired SP so that can raise issues.

Looks like you should be fine, I wouldn't apply again until you get an answer.

Dont think its true that online study doesnt require permit since it was part of your entire course but you finished while on implied status which is fine.
