Hello,

So I came to Canada in 2012 and I did a 2 year college program where I graduated in 2014. However, I did not apply for a PGWP but I extended my study permit because I transferred to a university. This is my last semester in university and im only taking 1 class. I currently have a full time job offer at TD and im wondering if its a good idea to flagpole to get a PGWP from my diploma I obtained in 2014.

Not possible. You can't obtain a PGWP for the diploma you completed in 2014. That was only possible within 90 days of completing that program. You'll need to wait until you complete your degree before you can apply for a PGWP.

I've seen a few threads on here where people flagpoled and was able to get a pgwp after the 90 day period. Maybe they were lucky that day so im hoping I can be lucky as well...worth a try

Maybe it happened for a few days here and other but you finished diploma in 2014 which is now more that 3 years. So no chance of pgwp on that.

Is there a way I can apply for a work permit while on a study permit? IS there anyway I can accepted full time job while only having 1 class this semester before I graduate?

You can only work for 20 hours as you might be well aware. There isn't any other solution if you want to study at the same time.

All the best

The short answer is no.

You cannot work full time while on the study permit and completing your program. You must wait until after you have officially completed your program before you'll be able to work full time.

If you want to switch to a work permit without completing your program, your employer will need to obtain an approved LMIA and then you will have to obtain a closed work permit. Once the closed work permit is approved, you can then begin working full time. Note that LMIAs typically take 4-6 months to process with no guarantee of approval. Most employers aren't willing to go through the process - banks generally never are.

Maybe there were a few who were successful a few days over the 90 day period.

You are over three years late applying. It's simply not going to be approved.
