Hi,

I was accepted for MBA program University of Vancouver Island. Course duration is mentioned as 16 months.

Could you please advise

- Is it recognize as a two year program in front of IRCC for RP purposes
- based on past experience, have you seen a 3 year post graduate work permit allowed for MBA graduates

I admit all above questions are judgmental, however appreciate if you could give some indication.

There is no way really to predict even though clearly implies in the instruction letter as you have probably read as per link that they may issue a 3 year once the UNi confirms completion of a masters that takes 16-23 months.

Where others have succeeded doesnt necessarily mean everyone will so guess depends on your priority, get a masters or get a PGWP possibly leaving the latter to fate.

2 years then so along with the stated variance for Master students (16-23 months=3 year PGWP potentially considered) you should get a 3 year PGWP assuming the rules stay the same by 2020..
