Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum but I have been following it from a while now. I applied for my PGWP extension on june 26th(initially issued until passport expiry) when I was applying for it I was only asked to pay $155 however I called CIC 3 times to pay the extra $100 and each time they asked me to wait for CIC to send me the request but I never got anything until yesterday. I got a refusal letter for not paying the fee. I called CIC and explained them my situation they agreed to send a reconsideration request to the immigration officer. but now I can't work until I hear back from them I have applied for AINP through this job and I am very close to getting it. CIC agent also suggested me to reapply which will take approximately 4 more months. I am not sure what to do I don't want to loose my job I will go see MP today but anyone in a similar situation please help... hello i am in the same situation, i got my pg. refused and spoke to an agent. she said she will do request for reconsideration for me. Still expecting it also thinking of doing restoration of status but dont know which one is the better option . Please how did your sitation go, i now its annoying when no one replies your post but would like to know how yours has been going so far

have you heard anybody got their reconsideration approved? and how long it roughly take?
I filed a letter of explaination for reconsideration through a lawyer, and did u do it with a lawyer too?

I have similar question. Can someone start working full-time job on his off-campus work just after the finishing of the course as transcript from school takes time and after getting transcript someone can apply for PGWP.
