My course will have practicum from MAY-AUG which needs in person will this thing limit my option if travel restrictions not lifted till April 2021??

Hi guys, I am confused and worried about my situation for getting PGWP, as there is a possibility for the Winter 2021 and Summer 2021 semesters to become online. I really appreciate it if someone can help me with my question.
I am a Master's student, and my semester status is like the following:

1st term: Winter 2020 (Physical classes)
2nd term: Summer 2020 (Leave of Absence)
3rd term: Fall 2020 (Online)
4th term: Winter 2021 (Assumed to be Online)
5th term: Summer 2021 (Assumed to be Online)

So, my total duration of studies is 4 terms (16 months), that about 12 months was online. (75%)

Will I be eligible for PGWP in that case? Note that for all of this time period, I would be in Canada.

Thank you in advance

Becasue you're in Canada (physcially present in the country), you have nothing to worry about when it comes to the PGWP. You'll be just fine. Don't stress on it :)

Guys, I still don't understand these new measures. They say 'students may now study online from abroad until April 30, 2021, with no time deducted from the length of a future post-graduation work permit, provided 50% of their program of study is eventually completed in Canada.' And they also say 'Students who have enrolled in a program that is between 8 and 12 months in length, with a start date from May to September 2020, will be able to complete their entire program online from abroad and still be eligible for a post-graduation work permit.' Isn't this contradictory because they say you can complete whole program online if your program is 12 months long but in another case they say you have to complete 50% of course in canada?

They made new update for study permit student: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...o35UXsXC4Un23FWIDit_FdEs7Vv7AiZ8OieEJ3YbeF2P4 . Does this mean they expect students to come to Canada next year? What do you guys think??? It is a "trap" for students this year...
""Students who have enrolled in a program with a start date from May to September 2020 and study online up to April 30, 2021....may be able to combine the length of their programs of study when they apply for a post-graduation work permit in the future, as long as 50% of their total studies are completed in Canada.""

They have not stated that students will not be allowed to enter until April 2021. If you want to be a pessimist then you can assume it will be online until April 2021 but this update was probably to alleviate concerns about PGWP for students that started their programs in May and and going to start their programs in September (1 year programs)
