Hey guys!

I have a question about Post-Graduate Work Permit.

  • I graduated from a DLI in Montreal on August 2016 which took 3 semesters.
  • Then I started to a new DLI in Toronto on January 2017 which took 2 semesters. I graduated a week ago and got my final transcript today.

I'm trying to apply for PGWP but it only asks me my recent transcript which took only 2 semesters. According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/students/post-grad.asp I can combine those 2 different educations I got in last 2 years but I don't know how to upload my previous transcript I got in 2016.

I also notified IRCC today by transferring my recent school's DLI number.

How should I continue do you think? I don't want my 1 year spent wasted at previous school I attended and get only 8 months of work permit from my recent school.

I was in almost same position as I did my first semester in one university and then got my credits transferred to other university where I graduated (I have one degree but two transcripts). What I would suggest is to create a single document in which you can include both your transcripts and letters from your colleges stating the duration of the program and to be on the safer side mention that in your letter of explanation that you included both the transcripts and total time of your study in more than 8 months.

Oh, that's a great idea! Thank you so much!
