PGWP Timelines May Applicants

Thought I'd post my update too.

Applied May 15, 2015. Still have no reply or any progress. Permit expiring on July 31st. Already got two emails saying "You have no updates". Patiently waiting.
 
Applied on May 5th.
Blank updates are all I have so far from CIC.
Paid $155. Waiting for them to ask for another $100 but it's been ages.
 
Does anyone have experience with this?

I understand that one can continue to work with an application for PGWP, until a decision is made.
I also understand that my husband can not apply for my OWP along with his PGWP until he has a job (NOC 0, A, B).
My situation is: my husband is about to finish his co-op and the company is willing to extend his contract. However, at this point, they will only do it for another month. He is a production accountant, which is the required NOC.
Would a one month contract be enough for him to apply for my OWP at the same time?

If no, what happens if he gets a job and his application is still being processed? How can we proceed with my OWP?

Another May applicant here.
Applied May 7th, only one blank update and my study permit ends today. Now the processing time is 100 days, which will be August 14th, hopefully sooner, so I'll just sit tight.
Paid $155 at first, but paid $100 anyway and submitted the receipt through CSE form.

According to the CIC agent I called, the $100 fee for Open Work Permit Holder fee is mandatory, so better pay even when CIC haven't ask and hold on to the receipt or submit the receipt through Case Specific Enquiry. CIC replied my enquiry and told me to submit the receipt and got the blank update after that, hopefully that update indicates my $100 is confirmed.

PGWP May Applicant here, thought I'd add my timeline in solidarity.

Applied: May 15th. Was only prompted to pay $155.
Blank updates: May 17th, June 14th, July 14th, July 29th, August 6th, August 13th.
Still awaiting as of: September 9th (Day 117).
 
applied on May 10th. Paid $155. Prompted for another $100 on Sep 8th. Paid it the same day.

Still waiting for any updates.
 
Applied on May4th - application received on May 5th. I paid $100 extra in August and haven't heard anything back yet.
 
Hi guys I am in a very crucial Situation.
I applied for my PGWP on 16th of May 2015 and paid only 155$ and there has been no updates for another 100$ fee.

on 12th of July I traveled to India for some urgent work and now I am stuck here because my study visa was valid only till 31st July 2015. Guys I need to get back to Canada and start earning asap.. Please help me find a solution to get there.. as PGWP is like taking ages... Waiting desperately for your reply..
