PGWP still hasnt arrived(processing time passed). Cant apply for TRV too.HELP:(

Applied for PGWP: June 10,2015
Paid $255 for the application fee online (i think that includes the $100 as i didnt get contacted by CIC to pay additional $100)

The processing times as per October 30, 2015 on the CIC website is June 20, 2015. I called CIC and the agent said my application has still not been processed and gave me this address

I dont know what to send in my application( like do i re apply and send a paper application of my WP or just send them a letter telling them how my application hasnt been processed it) the agent didnt tell me anything in detail and are not cooperative at all

I need to travel to my home country Pakistan at end of november and i cant apply for a TRV until i get my PGWP at hand. Flight has been booked and I dont know what to do. Please guys advise meee

Do you guys think contacting the MP would work? Right now, theres a transitional period due to the recent election so i dont know whether to contact the old MP or new? I live in Brampton, could you guys help me with this?

hello, I just wanted to share my situation that my PGWP got approved on 28th November - I applied for it on 8th June.

And my 2 other friends - one of them applied even earlier than I did - 19th May, and she also got it approved just last week. Another friend who applied in mid Jun also got her PGWP approved just 2 days ago. I am pretty much sure that the processes are almost done for the applicants who applied between around May and June. You might get it really soon, too.

Just in case that you already left Canada and stay in your hometown without having PGWP, you can ask someone whom you can trust in Canada to send your PGWP paper to your hometown mailing address and come back in Canada with it.

If somebody lands here on this page reading this thread-
Beware, TRV and work-permit are two different documents. You can't enter Canada with a permit. I have been burned because of the same ignorance, don;t make the same mistake!
