PGWP Renewal + Travel

My original PGWP was issued till my passport expiry and I recently applied for it to be renewed based on my new passport. I applied for it online in April with no news so far.
My question is, can I travel outside Canada before my PGWP gets renewed? I currently have a legit PGWP till Nov'22 and TRV till Nov'22.

Do you have a valid TRV? The TRV is what allows you to return to Canada (or eTA if you are visa exempt).
