PGWP Refused

My PGWP was refused due to 'part time' status Even though I was a full time every fall and spring semester throughout my degree. I was only part-time during the summer semesters which my university treats as a scheduled break. I contacted my University's immigration department and they went through my transcript only to conclude that I was in the right and there may have been confusion due to a co-op term. I'm going to file the web form with a letter of explanation and a couple of other supporting documents from my university. I would like to know if anyone else experienced the same situation and how to go about it/any tips.

Get you University to write you a letter stating that you were full time in all the Fall/Winter semesters and Summer terms are scheduled breaks (so being part time is okay then). Also get them to write that you were officially on a Co-op term from this month to this month.
Also if possible submit you Co-op job offer letter / employment letter (with start and end date of the job).

Submit those letters and write your own explanation letter explaining each term ( probably showing the fees paid).

You should be good, if what you are saying is correct, there is a misunderstanding from the officer and you should be approved.

Thank you so much for your response! I filed a web form with some additional documents supporting my case and requesting them to reconsider their decision. Really hoping that works out. Due to the deadlines involved and being close to the 180-day PGWP application eligibility, I am also getting in touch with an immigration lawyer as well as my local MP. Really hoping this works out and I can get my status back again.

Did you go through a similar experience/ know of similar stories? Would love to hear more.

I hope you go to an Immigration Lawyer (licensed) and not a consultant.
No, I did not go through this but I did read a few posts here (and on Reddit) about people going through similar situations.

Also, I hope you got your University to write you a letter since you were never part-time as per your post. The University Letter + Co-op employment letter (with the duration) + your own explanation letter would help a lot!
